Acupuncture

Acupuncture is the insertion and stimulation of  thin needles on specific acupoints on the body, found along several energetic channels that map the entirety of the body. Chinese Medicine is ancient and profound, it is the balance and smooth flow of Qi (chee), blood, and body fluids, within and around these channels that provide our bodies optimal balance and health. When our Qi is imbalanced it can make one susceptible to illness. Through an in-depth intake and diagnosis process, a TCM Acupuncturist chooses specific points to help bring balance back to a patients body. This approach differs from western medicine as it focuses on treating both the symptoms and the root causes of the patient’s illness. Acupuncture is an effective treatment for conditions such as:

  • Smoking Cessation

  • Pain Relief

  • Stress / Anxiety

  • Digestive Issues

  • PMS / Menopause

  • Insomnia

And much more...

Naturopathic Medicine

One of the fundamental goals of naturopathic medicine is to find and treat the root cause of an illness, not just to relieve the symptoms.

Naturopathic medicine is a distinct primary health care system that blends modern scientific knowledge with traditional and natural forms of medicine. It is based on the healing power of nature and it supports and stimulates the body’s ability to heal itself. Naturopathic medicine is the art and science of disease diagnosis, treatment and prevention using natural therapies including: botanical medicine, clinical nutrition, hydrotherapy, homeopathy, naturopathic manipulation, traditional Chinese medicine/acupuncture, lifestyle counselling and health promotion and disease prevention.

Injection / IV Therapies

Administering nutrients intravenously provides several advantages over oral supplementation.

  • higher doses can be administered which are immediately available to cells.

  • Nothing is lost due to poor digestion or absorption within the digestive tract.

  • A wide variety of nutrients, minerals, anti-oxidants and herbal extracts are available.

Reflexology

Reflexology therapies are natural therapeutic methods derived from this study based on the principle that there are reflexes in the body that map to other parts, glands, and organs of the body.

Reflexology therapy can:

  • Relieve tension

  • Improve circulation

  • Support the body’s efforts to function optimally

  • Helps to treat a variety of symptoms such as musculoskeletal pain, insomnia, anxiety, stress; and hormonal and digestive issues to name a few.

Unlike other therapies which manipulate bones or muscle tissues, Reflexology can provide much needed relief through working the body reflex that ails you on a part of the body that does not.
